Internships 

At Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida, we are proud to offer three differing internship opportunities: Development, Program and Marketing. We have three semester timeframes available throughout the year: Fall, Spring and Summer.

Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida finances endeavors through corporate sponsorships, special events, foundation grants and individual contributions. However, we do not solicit funds by telephone and receive no federal or state funding. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, all contributions are deductible to the extent permitted by law. Our financial statements are audited locally by CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. 

At Make-A-Wish, we take our responsibility for the monies donated to our cause very seriously and are pleased to confirm that according to the fiscal year 2021 audit results, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida spent 59% of every dollar on wish granting and related program expenses. Only 21% of every dollar was spent on management and general costs and 20% was allocated to fundraising. For full financial details please review our most recent: 

We are proud to be a BBB Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida Accredited Charity Seal Holder, having met all 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability. 

Our chapter is local to Central and Northern Florida, serving 45 counties and focusing first on meeting the needs of the children in our hometown communities. As we continue our efforts to reach every eligible child in our community, we also look to areas of the greatest need to bring hope, strength, and joy to children across the country who are traveling to our chapter for their wish.
