Current Internship Opportunities 

We offer formal fall, spring, and summer internships in our offices located in Boston and West Springfield, MA, and Providence, RI. Internships may be available in areas including Marketing and Communications, Mission Delivery (Wish Program, Medical Outreach, and/or Volunteer Program), Fundraising, Events, and/or Business Operations. Please submit your inquiry to [email protected]. For full consideration, your inquiry should include your resume and a cover letter indicating your interest area(s) and availability timeframe.

 

Managing Our Funds 

Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island finances endeavors through corporate sponsorships, special events, foundation grants, and individual contributions. However, we do not solicit funds by telephone and receive no federal or state funding. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, all contributions are deductible to the extent permitted by law. Our financial statements are audited locally by CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. 

At Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island, we take our responsibility for the monies donated to our cause very seriously. For full financial details please review our most recent FY22 Audited Financial Statements and our latest 990.

We are proud to be a BBB Rhode Island Accredited Charity Seal Holder, having met all 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability.
